I came across these tags while in New Orleans. Tags can be found all around the world by individuals trying to express themselves, make a statement, or simply communicate the fact that they claimed that particular area or section. Tagging has been popular for many years. Artists always try to differentiate themselves from other taggers throughout their style and use of stroke. Some call it vandalism, some call it art, others simply just call it a statement.
