Verena Stenke and Andrea Pagnes, known as VestandPage, have been collaborating in various forms of work such as performance art, filmmaking, visual art, writing and independent curating. They present meditative and ritualistic performances that challenge impermanence, transformation and self-awareness. The socially or environmentally orientated live performances are primarily site-responsive and process-led, conceived psycho-geographically for architectures or in response to natural surroundings and historical sites. There performances transfix me into an alternate state of awareness that is simultaneously terrifying and beautiful.
